Senior Accounting Specialist APAC

About the role

Fever, a tech platform for culture and live entertainment, is looking for a Senior Accounting Specialist to join its Accounting team in Madrid. The team keeps finances accurate, compliant and transparent, defines financial parameters, resolves compliance issues and develops tools to manage and report data. The role covers the full accounting scope with a mission to improve the tools and quality of accounting processes.

Key responsibilities

• Book-keeping of monthly transactions
• Reporting and control of entity expenses, reviewing correct coding within accounting records
• Reconciliation of monthly revenues and reconciliation with payment processors
• Approval of large financial transactions
• Contribution to financial audit processes
• Support of projects and continuous improvement across the Accounting function
• Managing relationships with external accounting service providers

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or Master in Finance, Accounting or a relevant field
• 3+ years of experience in audit, accounting or similar functions (audit experience is a plus)
• Fluent English; other languages are a plus
• Proactive, self-starter, rigorous, autonomous, organised and a team player

Required skills

• Experience with Navision Business Central
