Senior Analytics Engineer (Data Modeling & BI)

About the role

Fever, a global platform for culture and live entertainment, is building a federated data organization using modern data platforms (Snowflake, DBT, Airflow, DataHub, Metabase, etc.) and its own technology to deliver data products. As a Senior Analytics Engineer you will bridge data engineering and business analytics, making sure stakeholders can rely on well-modeled, discoverable datasets. The role can be based in Barcelona or Madrid.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain data models (DBT, SQL) that turn raw data into clean, trusted datasets for self-service and reporting.
• Collaborate with data engineering to define and certify business-critical metrics (revenue, engagement, marketing performance, B2B KPIs).
• Work with business squads (B2B, Marketing, CRM, Product) to turn their needs into reusable data assets.
• Ensure data quality and consistency, partnering on testing frameworks, observability and governance.
• Support self-service analytics with existing visualization and BI tools or custom developments.
• Contribute to Airflow pipelines in Python and to the data mesh vision, creating domain-owned datasets.
• Use Agentic AI and coding assistants in daily work to speed up development.

Required profile

• Fluent Spanish and English; interviews are in Spanish, some in English.
• Degree in Computer Engineering, Data Engineering, Data Science or a related field.
• Collaborative, communicative and adaptable to a fast-paced, international environment.

Required skills

• SQL and data modeling (star/snowflake schemas, data vault or similar)
• DBT or similar transformation frameworks
• Python and orchestration frameworks (Airflow, Dagster, Prefect)
• Cloud data warehouses (Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift)
• BI tools (Metabase, Superset, Tableau)
• Data quality, governance and observability

Nice to have

• Federated or data mesh experience
• Data catalog tools (DataHub, Collabra, Amundsen)
• Marketing, CRM or B2B reporting exposure
• Agentic AI and coding assistants
