Senior Assurance Auditor

About the role

The Senior Assurance professional will lead audit engagements for a diverse client base, ensuring high‑quality deliverables and compliance with professional standards. This role involves close interaction with clients, senior managers, and the audit team to drive efficient and effective audit processes.

Key responsibilities

• Lead risk assessment and planning meetings, prepare minutes and audit documentation.
• Manage day‑to‑day audit operations, ensuring work is completed within budget and agreed timelines.
• Prepare and review audit reports, working papers, and financial statements.
• Identify and communicate audit opportunities to senior leadership.
• Maintain strong client relationships and provide recommendations for business and process improvements.
• Supervise and mentor junior staff, providing on‑the‑job training.
• Ensure audit documentation quality, including work prepared by other accountants.
• Adapt audit procedures to reflect client specifics in consultation with the Lead Partner.

Required profile

• Secondary education with at least five ‘O’ level passes including English and Mathematics, or two ‘A’ levels.
• ACCA qualification or equivalent professional accounting certification.
• Demonstrated ability to balance workflow with professional exam requirements.
• Professional demeanor and ability to build effective working relationships.
