Senior Consulting Engineer (Americas)

About the role

ClickHouse is expanding its Support Services team and seeks a Senior Consulting Engineer to work with strategic enterprise customers across the Americas. The role blends hands‑on engineering, development assistance, and high‑tier support, delivering consultative guidance and technical oversight.

Key responsibilities

• Lead customer projects covering design, architecture, integration, implementation, documentation, benchmarking, performance testing and migration.
• Provide consultative case‑initiated support for strategic users, assisting with onboarding, production launches and proof‑of‑concepts.
• Handle L1‑L3 support cases, collaborate with Product Management, Engineering and Sales to influence roadmap and account plans.
• Create and maintain public/internal documentation, knowledge‑base articles, reference architectures, blogs and benchmark results.
• Participate in hiring, mentoring and on‑call duties, including up to 35% regional travel.

Required profile

• 5+ years in Professional Services, Support, Technical Account Management, Engineering/SRE or Project Management.
• 5+ years implementing, operating or supporting scalable, fault‑tolerant distributed DBMS solutions.
• Proven experience leading large‑scope technical projects with multiple engineers.
