Senior Cyber Security Regulatory Compliance Specialist

About the role

The Senior Cyber Security Regulatory Compliance Specialist will join BASF’s Global Digital Services team at the Digital Hub in Madrid. In this role you will help the BASF Group meet its cyber‑security legal obligations and support business units in navigating emerging regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with cyber‑security regulations such as NIS2, CRA and industry‑specific rules.
• Advise business units on current and upcoming regulatory requirements and guide implementation.
• Develop and implement cyber‑security strategies, policies and response plans, including the Cybersecurity Reaction Plan.
• Identify gaps in existing controls, coordinate remediation actions and monitor progress.
• Coordinate communication with internal stakeholders, external authorities, auditors and report compliance status to management.

Required profile

• Proven experience in cyber‑security regulatory compliance.
• Familiarity with European cyber‑security frameworks (e.g., NIS2, CRA).
• Ability to work with cross‑functional teams and senior management.
