Senior Cyber Threat Intelligence Analyst (Hybrid)

About the role

EY GDS Spain is hiring a Senior Cyber Threat Intelligence Analyst in Malaga, working in a hybrid setting. The analyst provides strategic, technical and operational intelligence from multiple sources, producing finished Cyber Threat Intelligence to meet client needs and liaising with services such as SOC, Vulnerability Management and Threat Hunting. The role reviews open source, third-party and proprietary threat information, adds contextual analysis and helps senior decision-makers understand threats to the client's environment.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse open source, third-party and proprietary threat information and turn it into finished strategic intelligence
• Triage alerts on monitored assets and compile them into intelligence reports for clients
• Conduct analysis of threats to the client environment to support senior decision-makers
• Brief senior leadership on emerging trends, threat actors and potential impacts
• Work with SOC, Vulnerability Management, Threat Hunting and other cybersecurity teams

Required profile

• 4+ years of experience collecting, analysing, proofing and/or producing intelligence
• Understanding of the intelligence lifecycle and interest in detailed trend analysis
• Ability to extract key information from large datasets and recommend compensating controls
• Experience briefing strategic threat intelligence reports to senior leadership
• Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or a related field

Required skills

• Cybersecurity frameworks such as the Diamond Model of Intrusion Analysis and MITRE ATT&CK
• Threat intelligence platforms such as ThreatQuotient, Anomali, ThreatConnect, Recorded Future, Digital Shadows or Cyfirma (preferred)
• Technical certifications such as GCTI, GCIH, CTIA, CEH or Security+ (preferred)
• Strong technical writing, analytical and communication skills, able to explain complex issues simply
