Senior DevOps Engineer - Hybrid

About the role

EY GDS Consulting Services is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join its team in the EY GDS Spain office in Malaga. The team provides IT solutions for major market players in the EMEA region, supporting clients in choosing the right business solutions and taking part in digital transformation.

Key responsibilities

• Provision and automate as much as possible the infrastructure needed for development activities (IaC, configuration management)
• Build, test and maintain continuous integration and delivery workflows using CI/CD tools (Azure, GitHub, Google Cloud, Kubernetes, Terraform)
• Assess existing technology and propose plans and processes for improvement to deliver self-service capabilities for common tasks

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field, with 5+ years of overall experience
• Experience in DevOps practices, including CI/CD workflows in Azure, GitHub, Google Cloud, Kubernetes and Terraform
• Experience implementing code quality analysis, vulnerability scanning and compliance validation
• Experience deploying applications (Java.NET, Node.js, etc.) and understanding their architecture
• Knowledge of microservices, APIs, Azure AD and common cloud authentication patterns
• A cloud/DevOps certification (Microsoft Azure, AWS or GCP)
• Good written and spoken English; ideally proven ability to act as DevOps lead and ability to work independently and collaboratively

Required skills

• Linux/Windows administration with scripting in Python, Bash, PowerShell and/or Groovy
• CI/CD tools: Azure, GitHub, Google Cloud, Kubernetes, Terraform
• Cloud certifications (Azure, AWS or GCP)
