Senior Electrophysiology Mapping Specialist

About the role

Medtronic is looking for a Senior Account Specialist within its Cardiac Ablation Solutions (CAS) team, based in Spain and preferably in Barcelona, in a remote role covering a specific region. The specialist supports physicians and clinical staff in adopting electrophysiology technologies, including the Affera Mapping and Ablation System, and works with the CAS team to launch new products for treating cardiac arrhythmias. English is preferable and Spanish is mandatory.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver expert clinical and technical support to physicians and EP lab staff on technologies such as the Affera Mapping and Ablation System, Pulse Select PFA over-the-wire ablation system and Arctic Front Advance Cryoablation system.
• Provide product expertise through sales presentations, hands-on demonstrations, installations and ongoing support to ensure technology adoption across hospitals.
• Build and maintain strong professional relationships with customers as a trusted partner and resource.
• Keep up-to-date on company products and on competitor offerings, features and differentiators.
• Work with account teams and Sales Managers on territory reviews and strategic planning, and act as a liaison between sales teams and technical staff.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Sales or a related scientific discipline.
• At least 5 years of experience in electrophysiology procedures and products.
• Background in Cardiology or experience as a Cardiac Physiologist.
• Fluency in English and Spanish.
• Valid driving licence with a clean record.

Required skills

• Strong understanding of 3D Mapping systems is highly advantageous.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
