Senior Enterprise Architect, Strategy (m/f/d)

About the role

Fresenius Kabi is looking for a Senior Enterprise Architect, Strategy to shape and align enterprise architecture across business, application, data, integration and technology domains. Acting as a strategic architecture partner to major transformation programs, business domains and IT leadership, you will connect business strategy with scalable, coherent architecture direction and provide architectural guidance for initiatives such as ERP, CRM, MES, Quality, Regulatory and Data & AI.

Key responsibilities

• Define and evolve target-state enterprise architecture across business, application, data, integration and technology layers.
• Translate business strategy and transformation objectives into architecture direction and roadmaps.
• Identify architecture gaps, risks, dependencies and opportunities across the enterprise.
• Drive architecture simplification, standardization, reuse and modernization in line with Enterprise Architecture principles.
• Partner with major transformation initiatives and strategic IT projects, providing architecture assessments, target-state designs, transition architectures and decision recommendations.
• Provide architecture guidance for business-critical platforms and capabilities, and support the definition of business capabilities, capability maps and value streams.
• Facilitate architecture discussions with business stakeholders, IT business partners, domain architects and solution architects to clarify trade-offs and maintain coherence.

Required profile

• Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Informatics or a related field.
• 7+ years of professional experience in Enterprise Architecture, Solution Architecture, IT Strategy, Technology Consulting or Digital Transformation.
• Proven experience supporting large-scale transformation programs in complex enterprise environments.
• Experience across business, application, data, integration and technology architecture domains.
• Experience in global matrix organizations with distributed teams and stakeholders.
• Strong business acumen and excellent written and verbal communication in English, able to explain complex architecture concepts to senior stakeholders.

Required skills

• Deep understanding of Enterprise Architecture frameworks and standards such as TOGAF, and architecture modeling, capability mapping and target architecture definition.
• Application Portfolio Management and architecture repository management, preferably with LeanIX, with strong proficiency in LeanIX or comparable tools.
