Senior Financial Controller & Back Office Lead

About the role

Ivy Decarb is seeking a diligent Senior Financial Controller & Back Office professional to safeguard the financial health of its global marketplace platform for textile machinery. You will lead accounting, tax compliance, payroll and administrative functions across multiple markets, ensuring accurate reporting and robust internal controls.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the full accounting cycle and prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in line with applicable standards.
• Manage local and international tax reporting, VAT compliance and ensure adherence to financial regulations in all operating markets.
• Develop, implement and maintain strong internal controls and financial policies to protect company assets.
• Direct back‑office operations including payroll, invoicing, accounts payable/receivable and general administrative support.
• Coordinate with auditors and ensure compliance with Big Four audit methodologies.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of progressive experience in compliance and audit within a Big Four firm (KPMG, PwC, EY or Deloitte).
• Supervisory experience and proven ability to manage a finance team.
• Experience in financial control, accounting and back‑office management, preferably in a tech‑startup or ESG‑focused environment.
• Fluency in English (both written and spoken) is essential.
