About the role
Fundcraft is looking for a Senior FP&A Analyst to join its finance team in Girona, reporting to the Chief Financial Officer. The role builds fundcraft's business planning, budgeting, management reporting and capital expenditure processes, working with the internal finance team and stakeholders across the business to provide commercial analyses that underpin strategic and operational decisions. It suits someone with strong technical finance skills, a commercial and analytical mindset, and the ability to work autonomously in a fast-changing environment.
Key responsibilities
- Build and maintain the rolling mid-term business plan, and prepare the annual budget with the CFO and budget owners, plus periodic reforecasts.
- Own the monthly management reporting pack with variance analysis and commentary, and the core planning package (P&L with margin analysis, unit economics, working capital and capex modelling).
- Deliver recurring business analytics, normalise run-rate performance, and build key KPIs such as CAC, LTV, churn and NRR.
- Support revenue reconciliation to the P&L and EBITDA, and deliver profitability analysis by customer, fund, country, segment and department.
- Track capital expenditure against budget, assess projects for capitalisation, and provide cost-base analysis for transfer pricing.
- Keep planning models, templates and finance system structures accurate, support board and investor reporting, contribute to month-end close and statutory audits, document processes and act as backup on other finance tasks.
Required profile
- 4+ years of experience in a similar role in fintech, financial services or another fast-scaling, multi-entity business, or with a Big Four audit firm.
- Proven experience in budgeting, business planning and management reporting, ideally including capital expenditure tracking.
- Hands-on experience applying unit economics (CAC, LTV, payback) to business decisions.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related field; ACCA, CFA, CPA or CIMA is a strong advantage.
- Fluent English; French and Spanish are a plus.
Required skills
- Management accounting and FP&A, including reconciling management accounts to statutory figures.
- Complex, multi-entity planning models and multi-jurisdiction reporting (Lux GAAP ideal, Spanish PGC or French PCG also acceptable).
- ERP and reporting tools such as Odoo or NetSuite.
- Working knowledge of corporate income tax, indirect taxes and group financing structures.
- Comfortable using AI tools to automate finance processes.
What we offer
- A fast-paced, diverse workplace with opportunities to learn from specialists.
- Modern, ergonomic offices with daily fresh fruit and coffee, and monthly company breakfasts.
