Senior Front-End Software Developer (Hybrid)

About the role

As a Senior Front‑End Software Developer based in Malaga, you will join EY GDS Spain’s engineering team to deliver modern web applications for financial‑services clients. Working in a hybrid setting, you will collaborate directly with business analysts, product owners and other stakeholders to translate requirements into high‑quality, maintainable code.

Key responsibilities

• Develop responsive, reusable UI components and single‑page applications using TypeScript and Angular.
• Collaborate with client‑side stakeholders to clarify requirements, set priorities and ensure predictable delivery.
• Integrate front‑end applications with Java/Spring REST APIs, handling authentication (SSO) and adhering to OWASP security guidelines.
• Maintain and improve performance, stability and cross‑browser compatibility of web applications.
• Participate in code reviews, testing practices and quality gates to support stable releases.
• Stay up‑to‑date with front‑end trends and contribute to continuous improvement within the team.

Required profile

• Senior‑level front‑end developer with proven experience delivering complex web applications.
• Strong ability to work in client‑facing environments and translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Experience with agile delivery and Git‑based workflows.
