Senior Full Stack Developer .NET Angular

About the role

Julius Baer is looking for an experienced Senior Full Stack Developer to join its engineering team in Madrid. The role covers designing, building and maintaining scalable, business-critical applications, working closely with product owners, architects and fellow engineers in an agile environment across the full software development lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test and maintain scalable applications using .NET and Angular
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions
• Take part in architectural discussions and technical design decisions
• Build and optimise database solutions for performance, reliability and scalability
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services
• Support CI/CD processes and DevOps best practices
• Troubleshoot production issues and conduct code reviews
• Improve software quality through testing, automation and engineering best practices

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional software development experience
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• Fluent English
• Nice to have: Agile/Scrum/SAFe experience, microservices and distributed systems knowledge, and mentoring attitude

Required skills

• .NET Core / .NET and C#
• Angular and modern frontend development
• SQL, including design, query optimisation, indexing and performance tuning
• REST APIs, Git and CI/CD pipelines
• Nice to have: Elasticsearch, Docker, Kubernetes, monitoring tools, message brokers, event-driven architectures and React
