Senior GL Accountant (Order-to-Cash)

About the role

Glovo is seeking a Senior GL Accountant to lead the end‑to‑end Order‑to‑Cash (O2C) accounting process in Barcelona. You will be the primary accounting expert, working closely with FinOps, Financial Systems and IT to harmonise processes, document revenue recognition and support audits.

Key responsibilities

• Own the full O2C and Purchase‑to‑Pay (PtP) cycles from a hands‑on accounting perspective.
• Map, analyse and improve existing process flows, creating detailed flowcharts for internal reference.
• Support the annual financial audit for O2C and related cycles.
• Collaborate with the Financial Systems team to design optimal ERP and IT structures.
• Prepare and document Revenue Recognition in line with IFRS 15 and execute Revenue Assurance documentation.
• Work with the broader GL team to ensure accurate month‑end financial statements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• 5+ years of accounting or audit experience in multinational companies, focusing on O2C/Revenue cycles.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, IFRS (especially IFRS 15).
• Fluent English, both written and spoken.
