Senior GL Accountant - Triangular Flows

About the role

Galderma is setting up a new Global Capability Center in Barcelona's Eixample district to support its global commercial and functional teams. It is looking for a Support Triangular Flows & Senior GL Accountant to back up the financial accounting team, support its main entities and act as backup for the AR Triangular Flows Lead. The role ensures accounting data accuracy and compliance and helps deliver financial statements on time.

Key responsibilities

• Support and advise on HQ accounts receivable activities, mainly with external shared services, and act as backup for the AR Triangular Flows Lead.
• Act as a link between Tax, Supply Chain, Customer Services and IT on triangular flows and support the implementation of new flows in the ERP.
• Support IFRS accounting reporting packages according to the global reporting calendar and Group guidelines, including reviewing account reconciliations.
• Provide general ledger accounting support across several entities and take part in internal and external audits.
• Promote adherence to global SOPs, finance processes and internal controls, and support corrective actions to ensure data quality and compliance.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or equivalent practical experience.
• Solid understanding of core finance processes, including GL, AP, AR, reporting and VAT.
• Experience in a multinational environment and/or shared services model.
• Good knowledge of IFRS.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, able to work with different stakeholders and stay calm under pressure.

Required skills

• M3 (Infor) ERP and Oracle FCCS reporting tools used by the group.
• Accounting and process expertise, with the ability to identify and resolve process, data, system or organizational issues.
