Senior GNC Engineer – Guidance, Navigation & Control

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Guidance, Navigation & Control (GNC) Engineer to lead the development, verification, and implementation of end‑to‑end GNC capabilities for reusable orbital logistics vehicles. The role spans the full GNC lifecycle, from mission analysis to flight operations, and requires close collaboration with systems, software, avionics, propulsion, aerodynamics, mechanical, and AIT teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design and validate complete GNC architectures for orbital, re‑entry, and landing phases.
• Develop guidance, navigation, estimation, and control algorithms, including Kalman filtering and robust/adaptive control laws.
• Perform mission analysis, trajectory design, flight‑dynamics modeling, and performance assessments.
• Create and maintain simulation environments for GNC verification, including Monte Carlo campaigns and sensitivity studies.
• Support integration of GNC algorithms into flight software and embedded hardware, and lead SIL, HIL, and EGSE test campaigns.
• Define GNC requirements, interfaces, validation logic, and verification evidence.
• Assist sensor and actuator selection, characterization, calibration, and performance evaluation.
• Analyze test and flight data to refine models and improve GNC performance.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical reviews and design documentation.

Required profile

• 3–7 years of professional experience in aerospace, automotive, or other high‑performance industries.
• Bachelor’s or higher degree in Aerospace, Control, Mechanical, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or a related field.
• Proven experience in GNC, flight dynamics, and control system development.
