Senior Group Controller – Finance (Madrid)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Group Controller to join our Finance team in Madrid. In this strategic position you will support the financial and operational performance of an international healthcare‑focused group that operates across engineering offices, modular construction sites, and joint‑venture projects.

Key responsibilities

• Consolidate and analyse the Group’s financial information.
• Coordinate budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes for all entities.
• Monitor profitability and performance of subsidiaries, manufacturing facilities, engineering offices and international projects.
• Analyse financial variances, business risks and opportunities.
• Prepare management reports, executive dashboards and performance analyses.
• Track key financial indicators, cash flow and working capital.
• Partner with senior management to support strategic decision‑making.
• Drive continuous improvement in financial controlling, reporting and performance‑management processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, Engineering or a related field.
• At least 7 years of experience in Controlling, FP&A, Corporate Finance or Business Analysis.
• Experience in international, multi‑entity organisations.
• Strong understanding of consolidated financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, profitability analysis and performance management.
• Previous experience in construction, engineering, manufacturing, infrastructure, healthcare projects or EPC.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Fluent English.
