Senior Infrastructure & Cloud Engineer

About the role

Fever, a tech platform for culture and live entertainment, is looking for a Senior Infrastructure & Cloud Engineer to join its Infrastructure & Platform team. You will design, implement and operate highly available, scalable and secure infrastructure on AWS and on bare-metal servers, combining systems administration with modern cloud and DevOps practices. The role is remote and focused on remote administration and operation, without physical datacenter work.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deploy, maintain and optimise infrastructure across AWS and bare-metal environments.
• Administer and troubleshoot Linux servers hosted by external providers such as OVH.
• Manage AWS services (EC2, VPC, S3, IAM, RDS, Route 53, ELB/ALB, EKS) and Kubernetes clusters in AWS and self-hosted environments.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code with Terraform and/or CloudFormation, and automate with Python, Bash and Ansible.
• Build CI/CD pipelines, monitor performance and availability, and troubleshoot production incidents.
• Improve backup, disaster recovery and business continuity, and support cloud migration initiatives.
• Contribute to architecture decisions, technical documentation and collaboration with DevOps, Security and Engineering teams.

Required profile

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in systems administration, infrastructure engineering or DevOps.
• 3+ years with cloud infrastructure, preferably AWS, and proven experience with bare-metal servers.
• Full professional English (C1/C2); Spanish is a plus.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

Required skills

• AWS core services, networking, EKS and Kubernetes, plus Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Linux administration, bare-metal servers, virtualisation and networking.
• Ansible, Bash, Python, Docker, Jenkins, GitLab CI or GitHub Actions.
• Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, ELK or Datadog; Git.
