Senior Java Developer (IR-551)

About the role

Intellectsoft, a software development company founded in 2007 and operating across North America, Latin America, the Nordic region, the UK and Europe, is building a modern ERP platform for the dental healthcare sector. The solution connects clinical practices with service providers and streamlines order tracking, product fulfillment and digital asset exchange. As a Senior Java Developer, you will lead backend engineering to build scalable, high-availability services handling dynamic workflow states, business-critical integrations and high-volume transaction data.

Key responsibilities

• Architect, implement and maintain scalable architecture and RESTful APIs using Java and Spring
• Design backend services for multi-step business logic, status lifecycles and event-driven notifications
• Build secure interfaces connecting internal modules with external systems, respecting healthcare data privacy
• Optimize relational database schemas and query performance
• Enforce engineering best practices through code reviews, automated unit and integration testing and technical mentoring

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in core backend software development with Java (11/17+)
• Experience with microservices, domain-driven design and transactional state management
• Nice to have: healthcare or medtech exposure, cloud and large file management (AWS/GCP), Redis/Elasticsearch, Prometheus/Grafana or ELK stack

• Spring Boot 3, Spring Data JPA, Spring Security, Spring Web
• Relational databases (PostgreSQL or MySQL) and SQL performance tuning
• RESTful APIs, OAuth2/JWT authentication
• JUnit, Mockito, Docker and CI/CD pipelines
