Senior Learning & Development Specialist

About the role

Glovo, part of the Delivery Hero Group, is hiring a Senior Learning & Development Specialist in Barcelona. The role owns and continuously improves the end-to-end cultural and functional onboarding experience for new joiners across HQ and international markets, helps run Glovo's global learning strategy and supports its Diversity, Inclusion & Belonging (DIB) initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Own the delivery and continuous improvement of the onboarding experience across HQ and international markets.
• Facilitate in-person and virtual onboarding and learning sessions, adapted to different audiences and contexts.
• Design and update learning content, activities and resources aligned with Glovo's values, culture and business priorities.
• Manage global learning programmes and rollouts, coordinating timelines, audiences, facilitators, rooms, materials, communications and follow-up.
• Build partnerships with People teams, business leaders, subject-matter experts and local stakeholders to identify learning needs.
• Improve and automate onboarding communications through Slack and email, reducing manual processes.
• Track participation, attendance, completion, satisfaction and learning impact, turning data into actionable insights.
• Embed DIB principles in learning and support Employee Resource Groups, such as the mentoring programme.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of experience coordinating L&D, onboarding, training or employee-experience programmes end-to-end.
• Experience facilitating in-person and virtual learning sessions and designing practical learning content.
• Experience applying DIB principles or supporting ERGs, mentoring programmes and inclusion initiatives.
• Strong project and stakeholder management skills, able to coordinate multiple workstreams and countries without formal authority.
• Professional fluency in English.

• Data-driven mindset and experience tracking learning metrics.
• Experience automating communications through Slack, email or similar tools.
• Experience supporting global learning rollouts and adapting programmes to different markets.
• Familiarity with learning platforms, content-creation tools and digital collaboration solutions.
