Senior Legal Counsel – Contracts

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Legal Counsel specialized in contracts to become a trusted legal partner for our internal teams. You will provide commercially sound advice, manage the full contract lifecycle, and support strategic business initiatives across multiple jurisdictions.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review, negotiate and finalize a wide range of agreements with counterparties worldwide.
• Support the preparation and negotiation of term sheets, letters of intent, and final‑form contracts.
• Oversee end‑to‑end contract processes, including internal approvals, execution, and record‑keeping.
• Advise business units on template usage and continuously improve standard legal documentation.
• Maintain structured legal records, contract repositories, powers of attorney, and project documentation.
• Prepare internal updates on contract flow, negotiation progress, and legal project status.
• Conduct legal quality checks and ensure compliance steps are completed accurately and on time.
• Collaborate with other legal team members on cross‑functional initiatives as needed.

Required profile

• Law degree (advanced degree advantageous) with 7+ years of experience in contracts, legal operations, corporate secretarial, or a comparable function.
• Previous experience in a reputable international company, multi‑jurisdictional in‑house environment, or leading law firm.
• Strong knowledge of contract law principles, corporate governance, and regulatory frameworks across jurisdictions.
• Fluent in Russian and English, both written and spoken.
