Senior Manager, Content Collections - LatAm & Spain

About the role

Clio, a global legal AI company, is looking for a Senior Manager, Content Collections for Latin America and Spain to lead its regional content group. The role is remote and open to candidates based in Latin America or Spain, and requires full fluency in English and Spanish. The Content team builds and maintains the legal content powering every product feature, and this role sets the standards, tools and roadmap for the region.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the content team across Latin America and Spain, with regular one-on-ones and clear performance standards.
• Run a regional roadmap and quality cadence, including roadmap reviews, coverage-parity readouts and check-ins.
• Coach the team toward Clio's global performance bar and close skill or process gaps.
• Share source-acquisition tactics and enrichment patterns with the wider Content organization.
• Set and run the content roadmap for Spain and the priority Latin American jurisdictions.
• Track coverage, currency and quality against providers such as vLex, Thomson Reuters LatAm and Wolters Kluwer, and set KPIs for completeness, update speed, enrichment depth and reliability.
• Build the case for regional content investment linked to win rate, retention and revenue.
• Work with Data Ops and Content Engineering on regional ingestion and enrichment, including the Iceberg migration, and apply global metadata, citation and citator standards to Spanish and Latin American case law and legislation.
• Rank coverage gaps by legal authority, customer demand, competitive risk and cost to close, and bring build, buy and license recommendations to Licensing and Corporate Development.
• Report cost per document, ingestion throughput, coverage parity and enrichment progress, presenting quarterly to the Content Committee.
• Act as the bilingual point of contact for Product, Sales, Marketing and Support, support enterprise RFPs and sales pursuits, and feed competitive intelligence into pricing and market-entry decisions.

Required profile

• 8 to 12 years in legal publishing, legal data operations or content and product management, with direct experience in Spain or Latin American legal markets.
• 2+ years managing a team directly.
• Deep knowledge of at least one Latin American legal system or the Spanish legal system, and a working grasp of how they differ.
• Track record of running a multi-country content operation or regional team against a shared global standard.
• Full fluency in English and Spanish, spoken and written, at executive and technical-spec level.
• People management skills: coaching, performance conversations and team culture building.

Required skills

• Product ownership across multiple jurisdictions, with judgment on what is region-specific versus common.
• Data-driven prioritization and ROI modeling.
• Technical knowledge of ingestion pipelines, metadata and citators to work alongside Data Ops and Content Engineering.
• Growth mindset for process improvement and new technology, especially AI.
