Senior Manager, HR Business Partner

About the role

Otis is seeking a Senior Manager, HR Business Partner to support its operations across Spain. The role will work closely with functional leaders to design and execute people strategies that drive both short‑term performance and long‑term transformation within a matrix environment.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with Spain leaders to develop and align people strategies with business objectives and transformation goals.
• Lead, coach, and develop the local HR team to deliver people programs and initiatives.
• Act as a trusted advisor to improve communication, employee engagement, team development, and organizational effectiveness.
• Assess current organization design and recommend optimizations based on economic trends.
• Collaborate on talent acquisition, workforce planning, and talent development with functional leaders.
• Ensure compliance with labor laws, manage relations with works councils and unions.
• Work with global HR Centers of Excellence to implement talent attraction, development, engagement, and retention programs.
• Champion DEI initiatives, including ERG deployment and inclusive leadership development.
• Drive succession planning, total rewards processes, and equitable pay practices.
• Partner with MyHR/Colleague Services to deliver manager and employee services.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, HR, Law or a related field.
• 7‑10 years of progressive HR experience.
• Strong business and HR acumen with critical thinking and initiative.
• Proven ability to influence without formal authority and provide effective coaching.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
