Senior Product Lead – Mobile App & Digital Channels

About the role

Openbank, the fully digital arm of Grupo Santander, is looking for a Senior Product Lead to own the vision and roadmap of its mobile‑first banking experience. You will drive product strategy across multiple squads, shaping the app experience for millions of customers in Spain and expanding markets.

Key responsibilities

• Define and prioritize the product roadmap for the mobile app and web experiences, aligning with business goals.
• Set and track outcome metrics such as activation, engagement, conversion, retention, and cost‑to‑serve.
• Lead continuous discovery using data, customer feedback, UX research and experiments.
• Coordinate multi‑squad execution, removing blockers and keeping delivery focused on outcomes.
• Influence senior stakeholders with data‑driven narratives and raise product‑craft standards.
• Hire, onboard, coach and develop a high‑performing product team.
• Explore responsible AI‑enabled journeys, including LLM‑driven features.

Required profile

• 8+ years of product management experience, preferably on mobile‑first consumer fintech products.
• 3+ years leading multiple product teams in a complex, regulated environment.
• Proven track record of delivering UX‑focused solutions that simplify complex journeys.
• Experience launching zero‑to‑one products and leading major rebuilds.

Required skills

• Strong product sense and data‑driven decision making.
• Deep understanding of mobile UX, onboarding, self‑service and security flows.
• Experience working cross‑functionally with engineering, design, growth, risk and compliance.
• Familiarity with AI/LLM concepts for product innovation.
