Senior Project Manager - Data Center

About the role

JLL is seeking an experienced Project Manager for its P&DS department to lead and oversee data center projects from inception to completion. The role covers planning, execution and finalization of projects within strict deadlines and budget, coordinating team members and third-party contractors or consultants. It is an on-site position in Madrid.

Key responsibilities

• Define project scope, goals and deliverables with senior management and stakeholders, and develop full-scale project plans and communications documents
• Estimate resources and participants, draft budget proposals and recommend budget changes, and advise on additional staff or consultants
• Delegate tasks, resolve conflicts, manage dependencies and the critical path, and plan and track timelines and milestones
• Produce progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation and presentations, and analyse status reports and problem areas
• Manage scope changes, anticipate crises and prepare contingency plans, and define project success criteria
• Coach, mentor and supervise team members and contractors, and build the business relationships needed for project success

Required profile

• Education in Architecture, Technical Architecture, Engineering or similar
• 5 years' experience in a similar position, or 8 years in the construction sector
• Essential knowledge of CTE and standards/regulations
• Experience dealing directly with clients and good spoken and written English
• Preferred: installations knowledge, understanding of installation processes and safety regulations, and PMP certification
