Senior Software Developer C++

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Software Developer specialized in C++ to join our team in Madrid. You will work on a web‑application platform for a global leader in orthodontic solutions, delivering high‑performance server‑side components.

Key responsibilities

• Design scalable software architectures in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Develop robust back‑end components in C++ (C++11/14) and integrate them with databases.
• Optimize system performance, identify bottlenecks and improve algorithms.
• Collaborate with front‑end developers to define APIs and ensure seamless integration.
• Debug complex issues, provide technical support and resolve bugs.
• Conduct code reviews, mentor junior developers and maintain coding standards.
• Produce technical documentation such as architecture diagrams and API specifications.
• Participate actively in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, sprint planning and delivery.

Required profile

• Bachelor or Master degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
• At least 3 years of experience writing multithreaded C++ code (C++11/14).
• Minimum 1 year of experience developing web applications in C++.
• Proficiency with Qt (v5 or higher) and version‑control systems (Git, SVN).
• Upper‑intermediate English (C1 level) is mandatory.
