Senior Training & Physiological Specialist

About the role

VerstärCare is expanding its multidisciplinary team and seeks a senior professional to lead the Training & Physiological Area. The role blends expertise in training methodology with a responsibility to guide junior staff and shape digital workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Define and structure the methodology for the Training & Physiological Area.
• Create follow‑up protocols, templates, checklists and reporting tools.
• Supervise interns and junior professionals.
• Adapt training plans to each athlete’s sport, level, goals and profile.
• Support workload, recovery and fatigue monitoring.
• Collaborate with sport psychology, nutrition, clinical and medical teams.
• Contribute to the development of VerstärCare’s digital ecosystem and app‑based methodology.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in sport training, periodisation, workload management and injury‑prevention.
• Proven track record in return‑to‑sport processes and individualized athlete follow‑up.
• Experience with remote monitoring tools and professional reporting.
• Strong organizational, proactive and digitally‑savvy mindset.
• Fluent in English; Spanish and/or French are strong assets.
