Service Technician - Automated Warehouse Systems

About the role

Element Logic, a global technology company specialising in smart warehouse automation, is looking for a Service Technician in Madrid. You will be the hands-on expert responsible for keeping customers' automated warehouse systems running at peak performance, carrying out maintenance, diagnosing and repairing equipment, and taking part in installations and commissioning projects.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out scheduled maintenance according to manuals, standards and procedures.
• Diagnose faults, repair and replace components following detailed service processes.
• Document all work and communicate updates to the back-office team and equipment manager.
• Prepare clear service visit reports and technical reports for clients.
• Build strong client relationships and explain the value of preventive maintenance.
• Manage spare parts inventory for service vehicles, customer sites and internal stock.

Required profile

• More than 4 years of relevant experience in automation, robotics, conveyor systems or a similar field.
• PEMP 3A and 3B certifications and forklift training valued.
• Experience preparing, reviewing and updating risk assessments and safe work procedures.
• Spanish at professional level, spoken and written; intermediate English, spoken and written.
• Availability to travel within Spain, mainly to Guadalajara and Toledo, with a Monday to Friday schedule of 9:00 to 18:00 hours.

Required skills

• Electrical knowledge: fault diagnosis and reading electrical schematics.
• Mechanical skills: assembly, maintenance and understanding of mechanical systems.
• Remote diagnostics using provided software tools.
• Basic IT knowledge and PC handling.
