Social Listening Data Analyst

About the role

SAMY, a global brand communication agency, is hiring a Social Listening Data Analyst in Madrid. You will turn campaign and business data into clear, actionable insights so teams and clients can make better decisions and improve performance. The role sits within a new project for one of the world's most iconic beauty portfolios, helping global beauty brands win in the creator economy.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze campaign and business performance data to identify trends, patterns, drivers and optimization opportunities.
• Use tools such as Sprinklr and Brandwatch to gather consumer, cultural and competitive intelligence.
• Translate complex datasets into clear insights and recommendations for clients and internal teams.
• Develop and maintain benchmarks, KPIs and measurement frameworks aligned with client and business objectives.
• Prepare regular and ad-hoc performance reports, turning data into understandable narratives.
• Identify ways to improve campaign performance through data-driven recommendations.
• Collaborate with Strategy, Creative, Account and other teams so data informs decision-making.
• Contribute to improving reporting methodologies, analytical processes and data storytelling standards.

Required profile

• Experience in data analysis, digital marketing analytics or a similar role.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
• Ability to turn complex data into meaningful business insights.
• Understanding of digital marketing, social media and campaign performance metrics.
• Strong communication skills and ability to present insights to non-technical stakeholders.
• Proactive, curious and solution-oriented mindset.
• Full working proficiency in English, written and spoken.
