About the role

This position is focused on developing required software features and ensuring timely delivery while meeting Merkle's performance and quality standards. The role is based in Barcelona and operates within a collaborative, client‑oriented environment.

Key responsibilities

• Work independently with a broad overview of the project.
• Participate in communications with partners and clients when needed.
• Understand and follow the company’s release processes.
• Take part in requirements analysis, development, unit testing, and documentation.
• Write quality code tailored to unique customer needs and configurations.
• Troubleshoot and debug, receiving guidance from senior team members as required.
• Mentor junior software engineers.
• Deliver trainings and engage in knowledge‑sharing activities.
• Continuously improve understanding of the company platform and suggest enhancements.

Required profile

• Ability to work autonomously while keeping a holistic view of the project.
• Strong communication skills for interacting with partners and clients.
• Familiarity with release management processes.
• Experience in requirements analysis, coding, unit testing, and documentation.
