Software Developer – PowerBuilder & PL/SQL

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Software Developer to join South Europe Technologies (SET Iberia), the IT, Data and Operations Shared Service Center of BNP Paribas Personal Finance. The role involves coding, testing and documenting applications that support banking and financial services across Europe.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain applications using PowerBuilder (12.5+) and PL/SQL (Oracle 11g+).
• Write unit tests, perform functional testing and ensure code quality.
• Resolve production incidents and provide timely support.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand‑ups and retrospectives.
• Collaborate proactively with Functional Analysts and Technical Leads.

Required profile

• Understanding of banking processes and business logic is a plus.
• Experience working in Scrum or Kanban environments.
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.
• Effective communication in English (minimum B1 level).
• Team‑oriented, client‑focused and proactive.

• ServiceNow, Confluence and Microsoft Teams
• Familiarity with testing tools such as UFT (nice to have)
• Knowledge of UML modeling (nice to have)
