Software Engineering Graduate – Barcelona

About the role

Sage is looking for a motivated graduate to join its software engineering team in Barcelona. You will start your career developing real‑world features for Sage’s AI‑driven finance and HR products, while receiving structured training and mentorship.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test and maintain back‑end and/or front‑end components across the full product lifecycle.
• Collaborate with product owners, QA engineers and other developers in an agile (SCRUM) environment.
• Write and execute test cases, identify defects and contribute to automated testing efforts.
• Participate in code reviews, knowledge‑sharing sessions and continuous learning activities.

Required profile

• Recent graduate (BSc/MSc) in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
• Strong analytical mindset and eagerness to learn new technologies.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid setting (3 days onsite per week).

Required skills

• Understanding of agile development practices, especially SCRUM.
• Experience or interest in automated testing and software quality practices.
