Solution Architect Quality (SAP QM)

About the role

Fresenius Kabi is looking for a Solution Architect Quality (SAP QM) to design and deliver SAP Quality Management solutions that support its quality operations worldwide. You will lead complex solution architectures, guide technical teams through implementations and ensure systems meet high standards of compliance, maintainability and performance, working closely with connected IT domains.

Key responsibilities

• Design robust, future-oriented SAP QM solutions integrated with connected systems, and prepare effort and cost estimates for proposals.
• Translate business requirements into scalable, compliant solutions using deep process knowledge.
• Lead international project teams from design through go-live and oversee quality assurance during implementation.
• Ensure adherence to industry regulations (GxP, GMP) and internal standards, and coordinate with cross-functional architects.
• Monitor solution performance, manage risks and define mitigation measures.
• Ensure SAP functional teams meet SLA targets and deliver maintainable solutions.
• Represent the Quality domain in steering committees, governance boards and workshops, partner with process owners and mentor solution architects and subject matter experts.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Mechanical Engineering, Logistics or similar.
• 10+ years of IT/SAP experience, including implementation and operation of SAP ERP systems.
• 6+ years of process knowledge in quality management, including inspections, defect control and compliance.
• Proven track record in regulated industries such as pharma, medical devices or food and beverage.
• Fluent in English and willing to travel internationally occasionally.

Required skills

• Advanced configuration skills in SAP QM; knowledge of SAP S/4HANA QM preferred.
• Experience integrating SAP QM with MM, PP and EWM.
• Advantage: familiarity with SAP Authorizations and SAP Test Automation.
