Sourcing/Procurement Trainee (Internship)

About the role

Galderma is opening a 12-month full-time hybrid internship in Barcelona within its new Global Capability Center, which supports the company's global commercial and functional teams. The intern acts as a key resource for short-term and long-term projects across EMEAC (Europe, Middle East, Africa and Canada), working closely with the Indirect Procurement Team and business stakeholders on sourcing practice, supplier communications, data collection and analysis, and project implementation.

Key responsibilities

• Support the management and leadership of data gathering and analysis for supplier spend data and payment terms
• Provide business support for day-to-day assistance per commodity area
• Support existing projects and systems where compliance is required
• Support Country Managers with market research for new suppliers and services, and end-to-end competitive processes (RFP, RFQ, RFI)
• Help run agile commercial processes, including cost analysis, negotiation support, risk identification and contract execution support

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree achieved or currently being studied
• Strong interpersonal skills and relationship management with leaders, peers, management and suppliers
• Quick learner, proactive, self-motivated and able to work independently
• Good organizational and communication skills
• Fluent English; other languages are a plus

Required skills

• Understanding of procurement and sourcing methodology
• Power BI knowledge is ideal
