Spa Receptionist

About the role

We are looking for a professional Spa Receptionist to join Mayan Spas, located within a 5‑star GL Hotel in Barcelona. This full‑time, on‑site position requires excellent phone etiquette, strong organisational abilities and a commitment to delivering top‑class customer service to our guests.

Key responsibilities

• Answer and direct phone calls with professional etiquette.
• Manage front‑desk duties, including guest check‑in/check‑out and appointment scheduling.
• Perform clerical tasks such as data entry, filing and handling correspondence.
• Provide accurate information about spa services and promote upselling opportunities.
• Maintain a tidy reception area and ensure all administrative tools are up to date.

Required profile

• Prior experience as a receptionist or in a similar customer‑facing role.
• Currently residing in Barcelona and holding a valid EU work permit.
• Strong communication skills in both Spanish and English (written and spoken).
• Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks and work efficiently under pressure.
• Attention to detail and a proactive, service‑oriented attitude.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook.
