Spanish Tax & Accounting Specialist (Hybrid Contractor)

About the role

ITAAG is expanding its U.S.–Spain advisory practice and seeks a Spanish Tax & Accounting Specialist to work on a contract basis. The position combines remote flexibility with regular collaboration from our Marbella office, supporting a growing portfolio of Spanish‑based clients.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, review and file Spanish tax forms (Modelos 100, 130, 303, 390, 720, etc.).
• Provide ongoing monthly accounting and tax‑compliance support for assigned clients.
• Act as the primary contact for Spanish and international clients, leading meetings as needed.
• Support compliance matters for autónomos and Spanish companies (SLs) and liaise with Spanish tax authorities.
• Coordinate with the U.S. team on cross‑border tax planning and strategy.
• Maintain client records, engagement documentation and compliance files.

Required profile

• Based in Marbella or the surrounding Costa del Sol/Málaga area and able to work on‑site part of the week.
• Proven experience handling Spanish tax filings for autónomos and SLs.
• Familiarity with Spanish tax authority procedures and requirements.
• Strong communication skills in English and Spanish.
• Availability to overlap with U.S. Eastern business hours (approximately 1:00–10:00 PM Spain time).
