Store Manager W/M

About the role

Amer Sports, which owns the Salomon brand, is looking for a Store Manager for its Salomon store in San Sebastián de los Reyes. The manager leads a high-performing store team, sets goals, executes brand standards, delivers operational excellence, meets financial targets and provides the highest level of customer experience, while mentoring the Assistant Store Manager and the team.

Key responsibilities

• Motivate the team and manage the store scorecard across people, operations, finance and customers
• Act as a role model, stay visible on the shop floor and help the team understand customer needs
• Manage inventory levels and work with the District Manager on operational best practice
• Oversee safety, health and safety standards and inspections
• Manage resources to meet budgeted operating expenses, monitor loss prevention and deliver the P&L and retail KPIs
• Lead in-store recruitment, onboarding and training, and support the career development of the team

Required profile

• At least 3 years of experience in a retail leadership position, ideally in footwear
• Fluent English and Spanish
• Willingness to work a shift schedule including evenings and weekends
• Familiarity with Salomon products is a plus

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office
• Understanding of key retail performance indicators
