Supply Chain Network Optimization Specialist EMEA (m/w/d)

About the role

Sika, a specialty chemicals company with subsidiaries in more than 100 countries, is looking for a Specialist Supply Chain Network Optimization for its EMEA region. You will support EMEA countries in designing, evaluating and optimizing regional distribution networks to improve service, reduce logistics costs and increase efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze distribution networks and replenishment structures, identify bottlenecks and improvement opportunities
• Develop simulations comparing cost and service alternatives and support decisions with data-based scenarios
• Improve routing logic, modes and frequencies, and identify cost and CO2 reduction opportunities
• Optimize replenishment rules and allocation flows, aligning planning and logistics requirements
• Provide tools and templates for better decision-making and standardize structural flow processes
• Build alternative flow concepts and contingency plans, and support long-term network strategy

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Business Analytics or a related field
• 3-5+ years of experience in supply chain, logistics, network optimization or similar analytical roles
• Strong expertise in distribution network design, transportation modeling and supply chain flow optimization
• Fluent English; additional languages are an advantage

Required skills

• Scenario modeling, simulation tools and cost-to-serve analysis
• Advanced Excel and supply chain optimization
• Understanding of transportation strategies, routing optimization and inventory planning
• Knowledge of logistics cost drivers, service metrics and CO2/emissions considerations
• Lean, Six Sigma and continuous improvement experience is a plus
• Stakeholder management across functions and regions (EMEA exposure preferred)
