Supply Chain Officer (Temporary)

About the role

A temporary Supply Officer position is open within the Supply Management team of Airbus Defence & Space in Tablada (Seville). The officer acts as the focal point for suppliers on operational activities and contract management, and as the supplier's ambassador to internal functions.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the supply chain and quality aspects of the contract, including On Time, On Quality (and on Cost where applicable) performance.
• Manage Level 1 non-conformity containment for customer protection and secondary flows.
• Create and prepare quality inspection plans with SCQM and stakeholders.
• Provide consolidated forecasts to suppliers, assess their capacity, capability and performance, and contribute to supplier development.
• Identify supplier industrial risks, propose mitigation actions and work out short-term recovery and containment plans.
• Collaborate with SCQM on root cause analysis, corrective and preventive actions and improvement measures.
• Initiate supplier performance improvement projects and set long-term development targets with suppliers.

Required profile

• Aeronautical or industrial engineering degree or a related discipline.
• Junior level experience (1-3 years).
• Advanced English.
• Problem-solving and analytical skills, able to coordinate a multi-functional team.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel / Google Sheets and data analysis.
• Nice to have: knowledge of the SAP MM module.
