Supply Chain Specialist – DRP Planner (Liquid)

About the role

Axalta is seeking a Supply Chain Specialist to join its Asturias facility. The role focuses on Distribution Requirements Planning (DRP) for liquid products, translating demand signals into replenishment plans and ensuring product availability across distribution centers.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain DRP plans for assigned distribution centers and regions.
• Convert demand forecasts into time‑phased replenishment plans, considering lead times, safety stock, lot sizes and capacity.
• Monitor inventory positions, identify risks such as shortages or overstock, and take corrective actions.
• Collaborate with Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Manufacturing, Customer Service, Transportation and Warehousing teams.
• Support S&OP/IBP processes with reliable distribution and inventory insights.
• Track KPIs (service level, inventory turns, stock‑outs, days of supply) and drive continuous improvement.
• Use ERP and planning tools (SAP, OMP, IBP) to create and manage plans and ensure master data accuracy.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, Business or Engineering.
• 2–5+ years of experience in distribution planning, supply planning or logistics.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Good understanding of inventory management and supply‑chain processes.
• Experience with regional or multi‑DC distribution networks.
