Supply Chain Specialist - Instruments

About the role

Roche is looking for a Supply Chain Specialist for its instruments business in Sant Cugat del Vallès. You will work in a dynamic environment and help ensure the timely availability of Roche's laboratory solutions by working closely with all relevant stakeholders. You will also support the standardization and continuous improvement of Instrument Lifecycle processes.

Key responsibilities

• Handle end-to-end the supply chain of large instruments, covering demand planning, purchasing, dispatching and retiring.
• Manage inventory of instruments and accessories, define optimal replenishment strategies and run S&OP.
• Maintain accurate and consistent Material and Equipment master data.
• Analyze and respond to complex or exceptional requests, such as multiphase installations, and define the necessary operational steps.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes, boost productivity and ensure compliance.
• Support projects and initiatives, including the integration of new portfolios, so that transitions to day-to-day operations go smoothly.
• Work with external service providers such as transport providers and field technical specialists to ensure optimal execution.

Required profile

• Degree in business administration, supply chain or a related field.
• 3 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry or related sectors.
• Fluent English and Spanish (written and spoken); Catalan is a plus.
• Customer centricity, proactivity and quick adaptability to change.

Required skills

• Practical experience in demand planning, purchasing and inventory management.
• Knowledge of SAP MM and SD modules.
• Strong analytical skills to monitor and improve process performance.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
