Support Engineer (AMER - Weekends)

About the role

Supabase is looking for a Support Engineer to provide world‑class developer support during weekend shifts covering the AMER region. You will work remotely with a globally distributed team, helping users solve technical issues and improve their experience with Supabase’s platform.

Key responsibilities

• Provide prompt initial responses to support cases covering billing, pre‑sales, optimization and implementation questions.
• Triage cases by directing users to existing answers, code examples, documentation, or escalating to technical or business teams.
• Monitor feedback channels such as GitHub Issues and Discussions to identify recurring problems.
• Identify opportunities for internal tooling to increase support efficiency.
• Reproduce issues, create test cases, and improve test coverage when applicable.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience delivering developer‑focused customer support.
• Proficiency in SQL, preferably PostgreSQL, and comfort with complex queries.
• Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
• Strong familiarity with Linux/Unix command line environments.
• Experience using GitHub Issues and Discussions for troubleshooting.
