Support Engineer – North America (Remote)

About the role

Supabase is looking for a Support Engineer to provide world‑class assistance to developers using its Postgres‑based backend platform. You will work remotely with a globally distributed team, focusing on quick issue resolution and close collaboration with product and growth teams.

Key responsibilities

• Provide timely initial responses to support cases covering billing, pre‑sales, optimization, and implementation questions.
• Triage cases by directing users to existing answers, code examples, documentation, or escalating to technical/business specialists.
• Monitor feedback channels such as GitHub Issues and Discussions.
• Identify opportunities for internal tooling to improve support efficiency.
• Reproduce issues, create test cases, and enhance test coverage when applicable.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience delivering developer support to technical customers.
• Strong communication skills and fluency in English.
• Comfortable working in Linux/Unix environments and using the command line.
• Experience with GitHub Issues and Discussions.
• Bonus: familiarity with JavaScript frameworks (React, Vue, Svelte) and Node.js; database administration background is a plus.
