Support Specialist Imaging Systems - Spain

About the role

Brainlab, a medical technology company founded in Munich in 1989, is looking for a Support Specialist Imaging Systems for its international technical support team in Madrid. You will act as a trusted technical partner for customers, installing, maintaining, troubleshooting and servicing Brainlab systems at hospitals across your region, representing the company's commitment to excellent service.

Key responsibilities

• Independently install, maintain, troubleshoot and repair the Loop-X system at hospitals and clinical sites
• Provide professional technical support on-site and remotely, guiding users through system operation and troubleshooting
• Perform system diagnostics, software and hardware upgrades, preventive maintenance and proactive service checks
• Act as a trusted technical advisor and build long-term customer relationships
• Complete all service activities efficiently and in line with Brainlab quality standards, and document installations, maintenance and repairs accurately
• Collaborate with Sales, R&D, Clinical Support and other internal teams, share technical feedback and contribute ideas for improvement
• Manage home office days independently

Required profile

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics or similar
• Initial professional experience in technical support, ideally in healthcare or medical technology
• Experience with X-ray imaging systems and/or scanner technology is a plus; special knowledge of radiation protection is an advantage
• Willingness to travel up to 80% in the region, including overnight stays and occasional international assignments
• Valid driver's license is required

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of IT, computer systems, networking and technical troubleshooting
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and spoken Spanish and English
• Confident user of Microsoft Office; Salesforce experience is an advantage
