SW Design, Coding and Integration Engineer Internship

About the role

Airbus Helicopters España, together with Camilo José Cela University, runs a graduate programme in Albacete for recent graduates who want to build a career in the aeronautical sector. The internship starts in early October 2026 and lasts 11 months (August off), at full time (40 hours per week), and includes a study grant.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate in changes and adaptations of the software design model.
• Support the implementation of changes in the source code.
• Contribute to verification and validation.
• Contribute to software documentation.

Required profile

• Degree in computer science or an equivalent qualification.
• English at negotiation level.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills, team spirit and ability to work in complex, international environments.

Required skills

• General knowledge of the software development cycle.
• Agile methods and web services.
• Software design.
