SW Engineer for PSP Solutions

About the role

This role is responsible for designing, developing, testing and maintaining cloud software applications across frontend and backend domains, with a strong focus on integration-heavy PSP Solutions environments. It is a full-stack position moving between frontend work, backend APIs and services, cloud integration and delivery tooling, and it promotes modern engineering practices through AI-assisted development and agentic AI workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement enhancements, updates and programming changes across frontend applications, backend services and integration layers in cloud-native environments.
• Contribute as a full-stack engineer in frontend areas and API-oriented backend work, adapting to the highest-priority needs of PSP Solutions cloud teams.
• Analyse designs and determine coding, integration and rollout activities based on product objectives, architecture constraints and operational dependencies.
• Investigate and resolve technical issues reported by users or found during testing and production, including cross-team and cross-service incidents.
• Write and execute testing plans, debugging workflows and technical documentation for assigned applications, services and integration points.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, QA, DevOps and other engineering teams to deliver new capabilities while keeping platform consistency and scalability.
• Support the lifecycle of services and applications from design and implementation through deployment, operation, monitoring and iterative refinement.
• Adopt AI-assisted coding, test generation, documentation and troubleshooting, and drive process improvements through agentic AI workflows and automation.

Required profile

• Four-year or graduate degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related discipline, or commensurate experience and demonstrated competence.
• Typically 4-7 years of experience, preferably in full-stack software engineering, cloud applications, platform integration or a related field; an advanced degree with 3-5 years of relevant experience is acceptable.
• A programming language certification (Java, C++, Python, JavaScript or similar) and a cloud certification in AWS, Azure or similar are preferred.
