System Administrator & Middleware Consultant (Windows/Linux)

About the role

FACTECH is seeking a System Administrator / Middleware Consultant to support an international project that spans infrastructure operations, middleware administration, and enterprise application support. The role works across both Windows and Linux platforms, ensuring stability and performance of critical services.

Key responsibilities

• Perform system administration and maintenance on Windows Server and Linux (RedHat, CentOS, Ubuntu) environments.
• Manage deployments, configurations, upgrades, and troubleshoot incidents.
• Provide technical support for Java‑based applications and middleware platforms such as RabbitMQ and Redis.
• Administer and optimise databases including MySQL, Oracle, and Microsoft SQL Server.
• Monitor infrastructure performance with Zabbix and proactively address alerts.
• Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to support enterprise frameworks like Spring Cloud.
• Participate in vulnerability management, security compliance, and Zero Trust architecture initiatives.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and operational procedures.

• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• Experience in fast‑paced, production‑critical environments.
