Tax and Accounting Support Specialist – Barcelona

About the role

We are looking for a Tax and Accounting Support Specialist to join Keysight’s Barcelona Business Center. Reporting to the Country Controller, you will work closely with Accounting and Tax teams in India and the United States and provide finance support to Treasury, Legal, HR and Workplace Services.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare statutory financial statements, annual accounts, management reports and NFRD disclosures.
• Assemble audit deliverables and supporting documentation to facilitate smooth audit processes.
• File and pay tax returns in accordance with Spanish regulations and coordinate mandatory surveys, VAT registers and official accounting books.
• Collaborate with statutory auditors and external advisors, monitoring budgets, purchase orders and invoices.
• Conduct financial analysis focused on entity profitability and results.
• Support Tax, Treasury and other finance functions to ensure regulatory compliance and efficient month‑end closing, including obtaining bank statements and preparing booking instructions.
• Work with cross‑functional teams on public tenders, external funding and grant applications.
• Assist during tax audits by preparing documentation and liaising with local tax authorities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance or a related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in accounting, audit or tax.
• Fluency in English, Spanish and Italian; French is a plus.
• Strong communication, analytical and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage deadlines in a multicultural environment.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with Oracle (preferred).
