Tax Specialist – APAC & Middle East (Madrid based)

About the role

Fever is looking for a Tax Specialist to lead its tax practice across APAC and the Middle East while being based in Madrid. You will act as the regional tax expert, supporting global compliance, identifying planning opportunities, and ensuring smooth expansion into new markets.

Key responsibilities

• Research and analyse direct and indirect tax matters in APAC and Middle East jurisdictions.
• Identify tax risks, planning opportunities and manage tax provisioning.
• Collaborate with third‑party service providers and local finance teams.
• Support all indirect and direct tax audits and inquiries from tax authorities.
• Prepare applications for tax rulings, incentives and exemptions.
• Advise senior management on tax risks and transaction structures for acquisitions.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of internal tax processes.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of tax legislation in APAC and Middle East jurisdictions.
• Experience handling tax audits and interacting with tax authorities.
• Proactive, ownership‑driven attitude in a fast‑paced, international environment.
• Ability to work closely with Finance & Accounting teams and external advisors.

Required skills

• In‑depth understanding of direct and indirect tax regulations.
• Experience preparing tax rulings, incentives and exemption applications.
• Ability to assess tax exposures and develop provisioning strategies.
