Team Leader Operations

About the role

UPS is looking for a Team Leader to fill a vacancy at its Coslada facility. The role manages a team, keeps a strong focus on customer service excellence and drives continuous improvement. It is a permanent position with working hours of 13:30–22:30.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the team reporting to you, including coaching and training team members
• Identify and develop potential talent within the company
• Maintain a strong focus on customer service excellence
• Monitor service KPIs daily and drive continuous improvement initiatives
• Meet with service providers (OSPs) when necessary to ensure proper customer service follow-up
• Coordinate projects within the department and communicate with other departments (e.g. BaSE, IE)
• Coordinate centre and service audits and follow up on action items
• Plan resources for holidays and peak periods and implement the plans as needed
• Provide support with operational activities when necessary

Required profile

• A Higher Vocational Training qualification or university degree, completed or in progress, is essential
• Advanced English proficiency is essential
• Previous experience in operations and people management is an advantage
• Availability to travel occasionally

Required skills

• Strong leadership, decision-making and communication skills
• Working knowledge of MS Office, including Excel and Outlook
